Customer Review: Sounds impressive but doesn't live up to the hype

I purchased this to keep our shredded beef and chicken warm for a dinner party. It sounded so great....keep food warm with controlled heat. Sadly, it has not heat. The unit doesn't even warm to the touch on high. We exchanged the unit for a 2nd one and it too had the same problem. Both were defective. We ended up using Rival Crock Pots with much better results. I would not recommend this product, especially for the price
